Sound Bath

Join your hosts, myself & Dane, for our last sound bath at Ashland until September. Because the universe speaks to me through people, and several registrants are walking with grief right now, we are dedicating the sound bath to holding space for grief. It’s not going to be group therapy, but just honoring grief. As you can read in my recent email, grief doesn’t have to be about the loss of a person, but we will be honoring those who we have lost as well as grieving stages of life that are over or anything else that has catalyze that emotion for you. You don’t have to be actively grieving to come and participate in the sound bath.

We'll create the atmosphere for you to float on the resonant vibrations of our sound garden using Tibetan singing bowls, gong, chi chimes, and more.

You’ll get to deeply relax while we play sequences to lull you into deep relaxation (savasana/corpse pose). Sometimes we evolve into meditation or chanting, as intuition leads us. The start time is firm, the finish time is loose depending on the flow of the event.

About sound - vibration is (literally) everything so when we use instruments that carry healing frequencies, we affect the vibration of everything in the presence of the instruments. The physical body will often respond with physical sensations, relief & wellness. The mind may calm as the nervous system is soothed. Don't be surprised if something mystical happens or you have a spiritual surprise!

As Dane likes to say, we create restoration through vibration.

Please note: This is held in a semi private yoga studio located on a 3rd floor. You must be able to walk from a street parking spot and up two flights of stairs.
