Spinning Disc Intro to Yoga

an introductory level yoga class, exploring themes of basic alignment, basic anatomy, and general principles of Yoga, including the poses, breath work, the energy system and the eight limbs in general.

This all levels in person class (also offered via Zoom) has been running for over ten years, primarily serving women, although all are welcome. This all levels live and Zoom class has been running for over ten years primarily serving women, though all are welcome. Yoga strap (long bathrobe belts work)

2 blocks

2-4 firm blankets (mexican blankets or large beach towels or equivalent) 

an armless chair (folding chairs are ideal, kitchen chairs may work. No wheels)

a bolster or other firm pillow about 3' x 18" x 5"

Thursday Morning Gentle Yoga - Zoom

This class, geared towards maturing women, has been ongoing since 2008. We focus on maintaining physical functionality and a calm mind through slowly paced yoga in the Iyengar lineage. If you are interested in instruction aimed at teaching you to modify poses as needed for your body, challenge through alignment oriented instruction, permission to ask questions, comment & laugh, room for self inquiry, and a generous focus on breath and relaxation from the comfort of your own home - please join us!

Sound Bath

Join your hosts, myself & Dane, as we create the next opportunity for you to float on the resonant vibrations of our sound garden using Tibetan singing bowls, gong, chi chimes, and more.

You’ll get to deeply relax while we play sequences to lull you into deep relaxation (savasana/corpse pose). Sometimes we evolve into meditation or chanting, as intuition leads us.

About sound - vibration is (literally) everything so when we use instruments that carry healing frequencies, we affect the vibration of everything in the presence of the instruments. The physical body will often respond with physical sensations, relief & wellness. The mind may calm as the nervous system is soothed. Don't be surprised if something mystical happens or you have a spiritual surprise!

As Dane likes to say, we create restoration through vibration.
